Bots are great at Gallery Gambit. Can you beat them?

Hey, Robin here. Quick bit of context if you are new: Gallery Gambit is the card game I have been designing at Four Suit Studio, where rival gallery owners draft art cards into three Exhibits and try to build the best collections. Up to now you could only read about it.

In my previous post I promised you could play Gallery Gambit online very soon. And soon is right now.

You can play it in your browser, or through the native Android app (live now) or the iPhone app (soon). This is the first time I have ever put an app in any app store. Pretty cool.

The bots are better than me

Hit up a friend or play solo against the bots. The bots in Brutal mode are incredibly good. Even I am having difficulty winning against them. And I designed the game.

There’s also a daily challenge: everyone plays the same short round with the same setup, and the goal is the highest score. That gets you on the leaderboard for the day, and perhaps on the wall of fame for eternity.

I also built a small world around it

While I was at it, I made something else: the Gallery Pass. Think of it as your membership to everything happening before launch. You log in, play, complete small daily challenges, and collect Prestige. There’s a leaderboard. There are real rewards: a free sticker pack, a free One Maze Card - River Rats Edition, exclusive Discord roles.

And here’s what I want to be honest about. The Pass and Discord are brand new. As I write this, the leaderboard is pretty empty. So this is a good moment to turn up early.
